The United Way also provides services to the community through programs and community initiatives like the ABC School Supply Program, Student United Way LEAD, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), and Prescription Savings Cards. Purcell Municipal Hospital
Purcell Municipal Hospital has been serving Purcell and surrounding communities since opening in October, 1970. We are a Medicare certified facility licensed for by the Oklahoma State Department of Health for 10 in-patient beds. We have two family practice physicians on staff with admitting privileges.
The advances in medicine and strides in technology provide the local communities access to better healthcare every day. It is possible to have most of your healthcare needs addressed in one location. Purcell Municipal Hospital offers an Emergency Department staffed with physicians 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Shea has been in Healthcare since 2007. She has worked the majority of her career in the Purcell/Norman area. Starting out she was a nurse in the ER for almost 12 years and has been a Nurse Practitioner in the Clinic setting for the past 8 years.
Shea believes the ER brought a wealth of knowledge from minor medical issues to acute care and trauma. The last 8 years she has focused in Primary Care of all ages, ranging from newborn to geriatrics. Shea strongly believes that integrating knowledge with intervention, along with a successful healthcare team results in positive outcomes for every individual.
