2025 Halloween of the heart

Experience one of Purcell’s most loved family traditions — Halloween of the Heart – Treats on the Trail! This annual community event brings families from across the Heart of Oklahoma to enjoy an afternoon of safe, family-friendly fun at the beautiful Purcell Lake.

This is a walking trail event, where local businesses, churches, and organizations line the trail to hand out candy, host games, and celebrate Halloween together. See candy map below.

• Candy Cauldron Sponsors: Purcell Municipal Hospital, Landmark Church, Kinetic, and Sheehy Signs
• Great Pumpkin Sponsors: Dental Lodge in Purcell, Landmark Church, Criner Baptist Church, and Sunnyside Motor Sports
• Food & Fun: The Corndog Cook Food Truck will be set up at the Rotary Pavilion
• Activities: Bouncin’ on Air inflatables and the Rotary Playground will provide plenty of fun for the kids

After Treats on the Trail, the festivities continue around Purcell:

• Moon & Movie Night at the Lake – 6:30 PM (featuring Moana under the stars)
• Door-to-Door Trick-or-Treating throughout Purcell neighborhoods
• Purcell High School Show Choir Spook House – 7:00–11:00 PM at the Boney Matthews Field House
